Doors & Hallway Storage Construction

Doors & Hallway Storage Solutions

Our versatile door and hallway systems are designed to enhance functionality and style in new building projects. Featuring both swing and roll-up doors, our solutions are complemented by Johnson’s sleek flush jamb and header system, which is customizable in various heights to meet your specific project requirements. We further enhance security and functionality with additional options such as galvanized supports, wire mesh, diamond plate accents, and burglar bars. Our hallway walls are offered in both flush and ribbed panel designs, enabling a customized aesthetic and structural fit for your building.

Self Storage Door & Hallway Systems

Whether you are considering a climate-controlled building, a conversion, or want to add interior corridors to your facility, our door & hallway systems are the answer.

  • Pre-painted steel hallway structural components are designed to provide a clean, contemporary appearance preferred by today’s owners
  • Flush jambs and headers combine with filler panels and roll-up doors to create attractive corridors
  • Optional soffit systems are available with or without lights
  • Designed, engineered, and installed by Johnson

Benefits of Johnson Self Storage Door & Hallway Systems

  • Single source design, engineering, and installation
  • Hallway systems — offer high-durability paint finishes in brilliant white with a 40-year film integrity warranty
  • Durable, high-quality components — resist damage that occurs when lighter-gauge materials are used in high-traffic corridors
  • Interior partitions — interlocking Pittsburgh Lock Seams provide strength and durability. Panels are 30” wide and made of 28-gauge, acrylic-coated galvanized or Galvalume® steel (horizontal partitions are used in some instances)
  • Moveable partitions — unit sizes can be changed if necessary
  • Vertical interior partitions — top-and-bottom screw guard channels contain screw tips that prevent “snagging” and come with a 20-year warranty

Doors

When designing your self storage facility, which doors you choose is an important part of the project. Making sure you choose the best door for your facility, both functionally and aesthetically, can make a facility stand out in a competitive market. Door systems can include either swing or roll-up doors. Additional steel angle, wire mesh, and burglar bars are available as needed.

Corridor Systems

Johnson has one of the largest selections of metal wall and siding panel systems in the self storage industry. Our metal wall panels include single skin, insulated, exposed fastener, concealed fastener, and interior wall liners, and most can be installed both vertically and horizontally, providing additional flexibility in design. Our metal siding panels can be used for new construction or to retrofit existing buildings. Hallway walls can be purchased as flush or ribbed panel.
