Johnson Construction carried the structural work that makes all of that hold together: the steel frame, the floor system, the metal building envelope, the interior partitions and corridors, and the roll-up door openings that turn raw floor plate into rentable units. Multi-story self-storage construction lives on that structure. The frame sets the unit geometry, the floor loads, and the door schedule on every level, and everything a tenant eventually sees is hung on it.

Building climate-controlled and drive-up storage into one vertical footprint is harder than it looks from the parking lot.
